Maintenance Release · Release Candidate 39
One of the notable fixes resolves a crash that could occur when creating an automatic import while the library device pane was open. Additionally, we've improved responsiveness in the UI when the device pane is active to ensure smoother interaction during file management tasks.
For users working with events and folder structures, we've corrected an issue where referenced events were not appearing in the correct location within the folder hierarchy in the event selector bubble. This should make navigating and organizing event-based collections more intuitive.
On the technical side, we've fixed a problem that prevented the application from launching if the SDL_VIDEODRIVER environment variable was set to “wayland,” ensuring better compatibility
with Linux-based systems. We've also addressed a macOS-specific issue affecting the title bar controls on macOS 26, restoring full functionality to these elements.
Other refinements include resolving an issue with dragging text in the search bar, which was inadvertently causing the window to move instead. Additionally, we've fixed a redraw problem that could occur after minimizing and restoring the application window on macOS.
For iOS users, we've resolved network connectivity issues that were occurring due to missing local network connection permissions, which should improve reliability when using the app on local networks.
As always, see the change log for the full list of changes.
