The new export dialog is the start of a series of export and metadata related additions that will come with the next few versions. Also, we've added a new tool bar to the thumbnail view that enables access to editing, as well as quick access to related files. Finally, this release contains an important fix for a crash during library creation…

This preview prepares for our last missing big feature before the final release: network synchronization. In preview 18, you will find a new icon in the upper right corner. This is the place where you can find all devices in your network that are currently running Aspect. You can connect with those devices to establish a secure, end-to-end encrypted communication – similar to pairing with a Bluetooth device…

With this release, we are starting our journey towards accessing photos from anywhere, without cloud storage, subscription fees, or selling personal data. This first preview allows you to have your library, or parts of it, stored on more than one disk (or NAS). Use it to collaborate, perform backups, or splitting up a library across multiple disks…
