Aspect provides a semantic search and text based that can be used for both, event or collection local and library wide searches. The search bar combines all of this functionality in a single place.
Search expressions entered into the search bar can also be saved using the “saved search” functionality, which is the equivalent to “smart collections” or “smart albums” in other photo organization software.
